... in a parking lot the other day, just minding each other's buisness. Okay, maybe they weren't unicorns, but rare enough these days that you wouldn't normally see them together outside of a car show. Plus, unicorns are white, and so were these cars.
No SR20, but these pics are close enough. First, a Vanagon Syncro Westfalia, lifted on BFG All-Terrains and decked out with racks and such:
Then, a pristine-looking NSX on some spindly, bright silver wheels:

False. Everyone knows unicorns are purple.

Nice! Where were these spotted? I ask because a friend of mine has a white NSX (with black roof) on silver wheels, and VW Vanagons are all over the Phoenix area.

Syncro Westies are very rare.
Maybe not in the PNW, Vermont, Colorado, or SoCal, but they are next to impossible to come by in other parts of the country.

Kamloops, B.C. As tourist season is in full swing here, both were likely from out-of-town, but likely not from as far away as Arizona.
The 4x4 Westie had B.C. plates, and I'm not sure about the NSX. I only caught a glimpse from afar, so I can't even say what wheels it had. Could've been polished or chrome, could've been nice HREs or chinese junk.

While 95% of the Vanagons here are Westies, on the rare occasion I do see a Syncro, it's more often a passenger van.
This one had B.C. plates, (I'm in inland B.C.). From its condition I'd guess it was from the coast, either Vancouver or Island area. So yeah, PNW.

Ah gotcha. Well his silver wheels are stock. He also has some multi-spokes painted a buick shade of green (it actually somehow works).
Damn Canadians and your 15 year import laws. :(

15 year import laws? I guess it could've been a JDM Honda, but most of the NSXs I still see are USDM/CDM Acuras.
Unless you're just being generally jealous. In that case, damn Americans and your lower taxes and lower average cost of living. There's a reason why cheap shitboxes sell better here.

It was more a general statement.

Just today I was in the center turning lane and you know who passed by me (and each other)? A Pontiac Solstice and a Saturn Sky. The drivers waved to each other.

Very cool. Though I gotta say.... hardly unicorns....
